Learn how to make sourdough focaccia, baguettes and wholemeal loaves in-person with Sophia.

Don’t be put off by the title, this class is ideal for anyone who only has a little prior knowledge of sourdough baking and wants to learn more detail about how to take your skills to the next level. Experience of nurturing a starter would be beneficial, but not essential, as we will be working on more varied breads and loaves than in our ‘Intro to Sourdough Workshop’ though!

After an introduction to Sophia, and an overview of everything we will cover, it’s time to get your hands ‘doughy’. You’ll learn how to create your own baguettes, focaccias and 100% wildfarmed wholemeal loaf!

This wonderful full day workshop will take place in the Sourdough Sophia Bakery in North London. A freshly baked lunch is included. You’ll also receive a Sourdough Sophia goodie bag containing some great items that you will need to bake your own bread at home. 

SPECIFICS

The workshop is taught entirely in-person by Sophia herself, and limited to 4 - 6 participants. 

The class costs £200 for the day and includes a sourdough starter plus instructions on how to make your own. You’ll take home everything you make, and a goodie bag with items you’ll need to carry on your practice plus lots of baguettes, focaccia and a wholemeal loaf!

We’ll provide a freshly baked lunch and Sophia will be available for all your Sourdough questions!

You should bring something to take notes with. Although you’ll receive a full handout, it’s always useful if any questions come up.

We recommend you wear comfortable clothes with closed shoes that you are happy getting covered in flour!!
